The act of caring for another is so powerful because it creates deeper bonds as individuals lean on each other for emotional support. ... It also teaches important virtues such as patience, understanding and loyalty that benefit individuals in both their personal and professional lives.
When you care for other people, the experience becomes internal as well as external. If we aim to have self-awareness, what we love (or don’t love) about another will open our eyes to what we love (or don’t love) about ourselves as well. If we shut ourselves off to the world, we only allow stimuli into our lives that we choose. This makes our personal growth process look more like walking down a narrow hallway, rather than walking out into an open field where the possibilities are endless. If we open our minds to being influenced by others, we never know what we might learn. One of the things that makes life so interesting is the vast diversity of people on our planet. Each one of us has a unique background, upbringing, thought process, and outlook. What an amazing opportunity it is to be able to tap into any mind on the planet simply by having a conversation and asking questions… Without this care or desire, we only spend time with those who are just like us, and can never develop into a fully well-rounded person. Why is caring so important? As I think about it in my world. Caring means that I pay attention to detail. I care about what I do and make an effort to do my best. I care about my health and see that I do things that are good for me and others. When you care, you put in that extra effort to make sure that something works for you or the other person you care about. No matter what setting I’m in when I meet a new person, in my clinic, or out in the world, I want her/him to care as much as I do. And I want her/him to know that I care too. What do you care about? Do you think taking care of others is important? Let me know what you think by writing some comments here. The simple act of stretching does a lot more than make your body pretty flexible and able to work well. It may help prevent injuries or even illness—all it takes is 10 easy minutes a day!
If you don’t have 10 minutes a day to spare, stretching just a few times a week can be nearly as beneficial. In fact, that may be enough to help you stay more flexible once you’ve gotten there. A study published in the Journal of Strength Conditioning and Research found that after stretching every day for a month, participants who went on to stretch just two or three times a week maintained their degree of flexibility. Those who stopped stretching, however, lost about 7 percent of their hip range of motion within a month. Here are five of the most important benefits of stretching:

You can create a very healthy and strong body by practicing proper nutrition and exercising. But maintaining a good body is only half of the battle. The other half is learning how to be happy and peaceful. One of the best ways to become happy with yourself is by practicing meditation.
There are many meditation benefits. The benefits of meditation are based in science and include slowing down brain deterioration, improving your memory, improving your happiness, decreasing stress, increasing longevity, and reducing inflammation. Practicing meditation can also improve your mental health overall. It is part of our human nature to be at peace, experiencing joy and well-being. Meditation helps to unlock this and feel more peaceful. The most powerful health benefits that we're seeing from meditation are usually the physical symptoms that we have when we're under stress. At this time of stress our blood pressures go down, our heart rates go down. So when we get anxious, we get nervous, meditation can help actually reduce and almost get rid of the things that we're worried about and all the worries that we're concerned about. Even if you do one minute of breath work, if you do four deep breaths, all of the sudden you feel very relaxed, and so anyone can do that anywhere. You can do that sitting in your car, if you're caught in traffic, even if the kids are running around and it's very noisy, and all of the sudden, you just take a couple of deep breaths, you start to feel very relaxed. Meditation is probably one of the best methods that I've being practising for a long time to get rid of the stress, but we also have created ways of meditations ( snoozing ) as part of my health program that I share with my clients and also ask them to practise it at home. And there’re lots of forms. We don't have to sit cross legged, we don't have to do what sometimes people think is a very odd or a very unusual way. Meditation is just getting quiet. Even prayer is meditation and it's a very easy thing for us to do. I think we've got so many ways that we can learn how to do meditation and it doesn't hurt. There's no side effects from meditation. There's no negative side effects. It's just an easy thing for almost everyone to do. So, I just encourage everyone to try it. Struggling with sleep regression or can’t sleep through the night? ''If you are having some neck pain, stiffness, or tightness, read through and make sure you practise daily stretching to feel good. The neck muscles that are affected the most are your trapezius and levator scapulae muscles. People often describe neck pain as a crick in their neck.
First start off with some gentle neck stretches by bringing your chin to your chest and then looking up towards the ceiling. This is neck flexion and extension. Next you are going to take your ear to your shoulder on each side. Make sure you are not shrugging your shoulders up. This is side bending. Then you are going to turn your head from side to side like you are looking over your shoulder. This is neck rotation. If that is not painful, then you can add some overpressure with your hands. Now place your hand under your thigh to keep your shoulder down, then side bend your head to the opposite side and gently put pressure with your other hand to get a stretch through your trapezius muscles. Hold these for 30 seconds and perform 3 times on each side. The final stretch is going to be for your levator scapulae muscle. This is the muscle that is used when you shrug your shoulders, and they can get overworked when you are stressed out. Take your arm on the side of the pain and place it above and behind your shoulder. Then take your opposite arm and place on top and slightly behind your head. Look down towards the opposite knee of the pain and apply gentle pressure for a good stretch.
